Most Weird Architecture Building Designs
Good architecture is a way to impress people. There are some buildings and sculptures that really don’t seem real, being as impressive as they
are. Sometimes you might think it is impossible for a building to look
like that, as some models look so twisted. Of course besides them having
weird shapes and designs, architects have to think about their
usability and safety. Architecture might seem rigid from the design
point of view, because of the factors I have already mentioned, but
creative people always find a workaround and they make their creations
fun and at the same time safe to use. This is why they are up to break
all the rules and go for something impressive and strange at the same
time. Check out a series of photos depicting amazing architectures from
all over the world. I myself was impressed to be honest.

The temple had its foundations laid out by the ambitious emperor Chola king Rajaraja Chola I in 1002 CE, as the first of the great Chola
building projects. According to tradition, the temple was built by the
Chola king Rajaraja in compliance of a command given to him in his dream
.
The scale and grandeur is in the Chola tradition. An axial and symmetrical geometry rules the temple layout. Temples from this period and the following two centuries are an expression of the Chola wealth, power and artistic expertise. The emergence of such features as the multifaceted columns with projecting square capitals signal the arrival of the new Chola style.

China's Comic and Animation Museum
If you love
comic books and cartoons (it's ok if you're nodding your head and you're
over the age of 10), check out this sweet museum. Dutch studio MVRDV
recently won a competition to design the Comic and Animation Museum in Hangzhou, China. With a population of 6.4 million inhabitants, Hangzhou
is the capital of China’s animation industry, and MVDRV’s new museum
pays tribute to its rising relevance and popularity.
The speech bubble-inspired design includes eight balloon-shaped sections that form almost 100,000 sq ft of museum space. Each balloon contains a different function, including two exhibition spaces that display cartoons, comics, and animations.
The permanent exhibition space spirals out of its chamber and connects with three auditoriums, as well as a comic book library. An interactive section allows visitors to test out blue screens, stop motion animation, and other animation techniques. No doubt, the most awesome section is the 3D zoetrope. It's where visitors can interact with holographic projections and games!
Don't book your ticket just yet. Construction on the $132 million dollar project is slated to start in 2012.

Tree Trunk-Inspired Buildings Connect Underground
The best architectural designs don't need to look overcomplicated, they
just need to be effective. This sleek pair of 17-story office buildings
in Seoul by South Korean firm BCHO architects is a perfect example.
The architects took inspiration from an old Korean birch tree trunk, organic and sculpted as if molded by flowing water. The design allows the structures to efficiently utilize the irregular site conditions, which are composed of vaguely acute angles.
With a heavy amount of pedestrian activity in the area, a space was intentionally placed between the buildings to minimize above-ground disruptions. What's really extraordinary, that you wouldn't know by just looking at them, is that the two buildings share seven basement levels below-ground, and there is a linear pathway that connects them!
