Top 5 Coolest Lounge Chairs

5. Ferrari F1 Lounge Chair

Not fancy enough for you? Trick it out with a couple of speakers behind your head, one up top and a couple of subs to kick your butt. Then embed a gaming console underneath and mount an LCD panel on the footrest, and you’re good to go. In the prototype stage thus far, nobody’s talking price, but it’s probably somewhere up there in the Ferrarisphere.
4. Splash Lounge Chair

Ever look at macro photos of water splashes or super slow mo’ video of a droplet slamming into the surface sending ripples across a lake? There’s a moment in that 1/10 of a second when the impact creates a crater or sorts, as if you were small enough, it could neatly cup you. Inspired designer Michael Wendel created a 1/8th scale model called the Splash Lounge Chair, big enough for us to sit in.
3. Wing Lounge Chair

This chair is notable in two ways. One, it’s the largest single piece of bendwood used to make a chair, and two, it’s the only chair tested by NASA and certified by The Space Foundation. Your body is cushioned by open cell visco elastic memory foam, used on NASA’s spacecrafts, and looks conducive to some serious nap action.
2. Bouloum Lounge

With its anthropomorphic form, the Bouloum was named after a childhood friend of its designer, Olivier Mourgue, who took the charismatic seat with him when he travelled… even going so far as photographing it in various situations and writing anecdotes. As comfortable as it is provocative, one simply must experience the Bouloum to fully understand it. Playful and practical, Bouloum is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The price for this chaise lounge is $950.00.
1. Seatub

This unique lounge chair has a bathtub shape. The idea is to clean lines between hot relaxing bath and comfortable sitting in living room. The Seatub was designed by London based Baek-Ki Kim.
